This was my submission for Creative Conscious this year and a project from my 3rd year of University.
I chose the Mental Health catergory for my submission as it's a topic that is very close to mine and my familys heart. I wanted to create a booklet that could help people struggling in lockdown with some vital and useful advice on ways to keep busy and how to look after your mental health, as well as others.
The booklet was also created to be in partnership with charity MIND.
The final spreads from the finished booklet, I hand lettered/Illustrated all the imagery in the booklets and thought they could double as motivational posters during this time to help keep spirits up. I wanted the booklet to be bright and colourful also so that even though the topic of conversation wasn't all bright and cheery, the booklet could still give off some joy.
Example of how the posters would looked in real life, again in partnership with MIND. The posters could be sold via the MIND website to help raise money for the charity also.
I thought these stickers could prove useful at charity events or fundraisers to give out to attendees.
I created this shirt to be worn by MIND charity workers, as well as being able to sell them and make profit for the charity similar to the posters.
